A finish for Babs but not a challenge!

I did it! I finished Beds of Roses! I can't believe how long it took and how much frogging I did...that little fellow just wouldn't go away. Now to find the perfect frame or whatever finishing I decide to do.
Beds of Roses
designed by Terry Loewen
stitched on 32 ct. autumn blush over two
using GAST Faded Rose

Some of you asked where the pattern is from...It was a neat little surprise in the first copy I ever bought of Create & Decorate, April 2011. They did send me to a web sight for a better chart www.createanddecorate.com/downloads . It might still be available and you can print it off.

And, oh yeah, you can click on my pics now and enlarge them, but not any before today I don't think. I just did it spastically but I think that's been taken care of now :)

HTH and hugs,
Babs

Babs, Beds of Roses is so antique-like! I LOVE it! The fabric combined with your GAST fibers is perfect. Why is it that some designs just invite a visit from the frog and it refuses to leave? I had a simple LHN design that should have taken me a fraction of the time it took because of my miscounts. Anyway, you persevered on a most lovely piece!

Hi Babs! I just saw your post on my blog so I hurried over to let you know I'll be praying very hard for you and Herman tonight!! I LOVE Beds of Roses, and bopped over to the link and downloaded it!! You've done a superb job with fabric and thread choice, it looks wonderful! Can't wait to see how you'll frame it! Keep the faith, Babs, and let me know how things turn out! FTH (Feel the hug)

Beautiful sampler!

Thanks so much for posting where it can be found. A dear friend of ours recently died. He was a wonderful gardener ever since his retirement and, while he grew many different kinds of flowers, he loved his roses.

I've been thinking of finding a design I can stitch in memory of him to give his widow. This one might be the perfect one.
